The Garfield Movie (2024) is a disgrace of a movie. It appeals to absolutely nobody. Not children, as the only joke that I really understood that was not an adult joke was, "This Food is Stinky!!!". On the topic of adult jokes, there is a scene where two characters jump offscreen and start FUCKING AGGRESSIVELY. YOU CAN EVEN HEAR CARTOON BOUNCING SOUNDS. For some reason, Snoop Dogg is a prominent character? He wrote an entire song and appears as a cat character in multiple scenes??? Do you think a Gen Alpha child know who Snoop Dogg is? As well as that, the pound is compared to alcatraz, does a gen alpha know that? The garfield's father character repeatedly fucks him over in situations in which he could have just done something to keep them both on track. Garfield is represented by roadkill in multiple scenes and if I was a young child I would have been disgusted by it. In conclusion, The Garfield Movie (2024) is not worth going to see.
